The Look is based around a print design taken from a painting I did of a dirty wall outside the painting studio.  Intrigued by the power of manipulation the artist holds, I was inspired by the ability to take something mundane- even ugly, and transform it into something beautiful.  The shapes drew inspiration from athletic wear- the sporty letterman jacket and the tracksuit jumpsuit, recreated into somehing elegant and beautiful.  The jumpsuit is printed on silk crepe de chine and accompanied by a cropped bomber with detachable sleeves.  The vest part of the jacket is a wine colored pony leather, with collar, waistband, and sleeves in an alpaca/mohair wool blend.
